Anime Vegas was a very fun event, I posted a long detailed thing on DA so I'm going to post it here:
The whole three days was, completely amazing. It's even hard to explain it! I'll try to explain what happen Day by Day.
September 5th-7th 2009, Anime Vegas
Day 1 The day started with Mom and I being a little later then expected. Lore and Bear were to meet up with us around 12pm because he had college and she had to babysit. So it was just Mom and I to work at the table. I went to a panel for FUNamation around 11:30am before the Dealers Room opened. As soon as it opened, I was there and business was crazy! A lot of people came by the table and bought so much on the first day. I was so excited that people loved my art! Lore's charms were a hit and so were Mom's plushies! Of course when Lore got there we were selling even more with Marik and Bakura. We ran around too to get cosplay pictures and have fun. Then at night around 8pm, there was the Phantomhive Ball. I spend the first parts of the ball I was just watching and enjoying all the dancers. Lore danced with Bear (so cute!), Danny danced (With anyone really
), I met a few new friends, and even my mom danced with someone. There was a contest that Ciel and Madam Red it was for best cosplay. Prince was Vegeta and Princess was Yuna [I believe], King was Ciel (Another one) and Elizabeth. I wanted to dance with Vegeta (I'm sorry I can't remember his real name) because he was so cute and nice, my friends went to get him and made me dance with him. It was so embrassing, but it made my night. He was such a gentleman, sweet, and he said I looked beautiful and so was my name (For those of you who don't know Vegeta, the character, was one of my first anime crushes). So that night ended on a wonderful note.
Day 2 Lore, Mom and I started off our day with Starbucks and McDonald's. Where the combo proceeded in making me sick. Any who, the business was almost great as the first day, but in the morning a group of Hetalia cosplayers made Lore's day. I was pretty excited as well, but I don't know so much about the Anime to get giddy. They were awesome along with them we made friends with a Sora and Riku. Then there was the skit, the Masquerade was amazing. We were almost unable to enter, but I was able to be judged, sadly not Lore. After saw a few amazing skits, it was our turn. Surpisingly people really liked us! Some were Yugioh haters, but others loved our skit! We didn't win anything but we were still so happy. We ended that night TIRED and so happy still.
Day 3 the last sad day of Anime Vegas. It was still going great at our table and we bought from other artist tables as well. Lore and I spotted the Pharaoh! There was an AWESOME Yami Yugi cosplayer walking around, sadly I forgot her DA or lost the paper. Our favorite Hetalia Cosplayers came back to hang at our table and so did Sora. We got a lot of people saying they loved the skit. After everything was over we packed up early and went home. We had FISH AND CHIPS, well we went to McDonald's and got a fish sandwich and fries but the day before we were listening to UK's song "Pub and Go".
I'm hoping next year can but just as exciting.
